How to add categories in Magento 2

Step 1: Login to magento 2 admin put username and password after putting right crendentials it will redirect to magento  2 admin dashboard

 

Go to the Catalog >  Categories and add your root cataegories or sub categories

 

After filling all the details into the categories section then click on the save button

you can add title of the category , image of the category , description , products selection in the category please have a look all these feilds
